"Belle" is an absolute sweetheart of a mare. She has a very calm and sweet personality, but is full of fire when she wants to turn it on. She was never broke to ride, but after three days of having her I rode her around the arena in a halter and a lead rope. She is very gentle and submissive, and wouldn't fight with a fly over a flake of hay.
Belle has a gorgeous soft eye and a very pretty short head. She has a very tight and compact build, with excellent straight legs. Belle has produced one foal with DTD Jess Dancin so far, Dancin On Ayer HH and is expecting again for 2012!
Belle at one time did founder slightly, she has a crest to her neck but no issues with her feet and has never been unsound in the four years I have owned her. She is an easy keeper and stays round and fat on 4 cups of complete feed and free feed hay very easily. She is very very easy to deal with, quiet, calm, great for farrier and worming. She is in excellent condtition and UTD on everything.
I am cutting back on breeding and greatly reducing the herd. A great home is the biggest priority for this mare. She is in excellent breeding health, and has had no issues getting in foal. She is currently in foal and due May 27th. She is available IN foal, as a foal package and can also be re-bred to DTD Jess Dancin for a 2013 foal for no additional charge. She is an easy foaler and an excellent mother.
Belle has some great older lines, and that great traditional compact strong Arabian body. She has a lot to offer in the breeding shed, or would make an excpetional companion horse with her kind loving nature.
